Zero Pressure conveyor systems that do not just convey and accumulate product, they sense, diagnose, inform and have local programmable intelligence tailored to suit your individual application. The ZP system developed by Microtech is based on well established AB 1799 series cards and Interroll roller drives. Each card is capable of controlling up to 5 accumulation zones, or CVC to attain conveyor height changes. The cards are linked together using their DeviceNET interface via a flat 4-core cable to communicate with upstream and downstream modules and also to the host PC system.

The HMI PC software platform developed for VB.Net or Rockwell RSView32 provides full system control, detailed graphic mimics and instant diagnosis of queues, blockages or faults down to individual cells or roller drives. Products are directed to their destinations by the shortest available route from their current position recognised by barcode or 1D 0r 2D readers linked to the host PC by Ethernet. The readers also report back the position and quality of the codes read providing self diagnosis of reader alignment or product damaged barcodes.

Automatic re-routing of product may be programmed to distribute according to current system loading. Maintenance personnel may be directed to problem areas using SMS or E-Mail prompts generated automatically by the host PC. All product routing information is stored in an Audit Trail allowing dynamic tracking and management reports to be generated on demand.
